NATTAUP officially announces the launch of its new long-term brand project, the Global Sensory Archive.

Centered around the brand’s ongoing exploration of the five senses, the project will unfold across different cities around the world through continuous visual collaborations and documentation. By working with local photographers, creative talents, and cultural figures, NATTAUP aims to build a global archive of sensory experiences through its own distinctive lens.

A Complete Sensory Language

For NATTAUP, brand expression has never been limited to the visual alone.

Beyond fashion imagery, the brand is deeply concerned with how touch, scent, light, sound, spatial atmosphere, and bodily presence come together to create a complete sensory experience.

The tactile memory created when fabric meets skin, the emotional residue left by scent over time, the role of light and color in image-making, the rhythm and sound of an environment, and the distance between body and space all form essential parts of the NATTAUP universe.

Built on this long-term approach, NATTAUP seeks to bring its understanding of perception, body, and emotion into a broader global context through image-making.

The Global Sensory Archive is therefore not simply a photography project, but an ongoing documentation initiative shaped by the sensory identities of different cities.

Each destination will become a chapter of its own, capturing local atmospheres, temperatures, rhythms, light conditions, scents, and body languages, allowing every collaboration to become an extension of NATTAUP’s world in a new cultural setting.

Chapter One: Paris

Paris has been chosen as the first chapter of this project.
As one of the world’s most influential cities in fashion, art, and image culture, Paris carries not only a strong aesthetic legacy, but also a uniquely layered sensory character. Its light, spatial distance, fashion history, perfume culture, and the coexistence of elegance and cool restraint make it an ideal starting point for NATTAUP’s Global Sensory Archive.
For this Paris chapter, NATTAUP collaborated with a local photographer to translate its focus on the five senses into a specific urban context.
What the brand set out to capture was not simply a series of still images, but a composite expression of atmosphere, human presence, light, movement, and sensory perception within the city.

Through this collaboration, NATTAUP aims to further expand the way the brand operates within international cultural settings, while laying the foundation for future chapters in other cities.

Looking ahead, NATTAUP will continue to develop this project across more destinations worldwide.
Each chapter will respond to the unique sensory structure of its location, gradually forming a global visual system that moves across regions and cultures.
The project serves not only as a long-term extension of NATTAUP’s brand content, but also as an important path for building visual assets, establishing international dialogue, and opening up future cultural collaborations.
Beginning with Paris, NATTAUP hopes to document not only places themselves,
but the ways perception takes shape around the world.
